Notice of Proposed Closure and Abandonment of a Portion of Third Street and Preston Street in the City of Huntington, Texas
The City Council of the City of Huntington, Texas, has received a petition from the abutting property owners to close and abandon a portion of Third Street in Huntington, Texas to the abutting property owners set out as follows:
The proposed street closure involves portions of Third Street and Preston Street in Huntington, Texas.
The City Council of the City of Huntington hereby gives notice that a public hearing shall be held regarding the proposed closure and invites the citizens of Huntington to comment on the request by the abutting landowners to abandon, vacate and close this street to them. The public hearing shall be held as follows:
DATE: Tuesday. August 2. 2016
TIME: 6:00 p.m.
PLACE: City of Huntington City Hall
The public is encouraged to attend and provide comments to the City Council prior to a vote by the Council as to the possible closure and abandonment of a portion of Third Street and Preston Street in Huntington, Texas to the abutting property owners.
