Angelina Fair sets new mark for youth

The Angelina County Fair’s Live Auction on Saturday night brought in a record-breaking $386,350. Two hundred and fifty projects were sold. Among those projects making the sale was Taylor Franklin’s hog. Franklin passed away last week. He had suffered from hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, asthma, cerebral palsy and acid reflux.
