Memorial services for Mozelle Devereaux, 93, formerly of Diboll, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Diboll United Methodt Church, with Reverend Becky Love officiating.

Mrs. Devereaux was born October 3, 1919 in Ringgold, Louiana, the daughter of the late C.B. Bullock Sr. and Celia Ola Bullock. She was united in marriage on February 12, 1939 to Jack Devereaux. They were married for 73 years. Mozelle had an unwavering faith in God. She was a long time member of Diboll United Methodt Church and was very involved with the church and local community organizations, including the Garden Club and Pilot Club of Diboll, TX. Every week she had great fun getting together with the domino ladies, enjoying friendship and laughter. Her compassion embraced all God’s creatures, always seeing the best in everyone. Supporting family members was her main focus in life, enjoying the pleasures of their success brought her great happiness. She had a passion for education and knowledge and fulfilled her dream by working with the Arizona Public Schools, retiring in 1984.
She survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jacquelin and Larry Renfro of Amarillo, Paula and Mel Kurth of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Celia “Ceci” and Doc White of San Diego, California; grandsons, Lance Devereaux and Chad Walker; granddaughter, JJ Devereaux; and a number of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mozelle was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Devereaux on August 24, 2012; brother, C. B. Bullock, Jr., and Doyle Bullock; and ster, Floree Smith.
