A convenient dish for a potluck is meatballs or little smokey sausages in the crockpot in a tasty sauce. This sauce is my sister Elaine’s recipe.
Sweet and Sour Meatballs or Little Smokey Sausages
1 bag of frozen pre-cooked meatballs
3 pkgs little smokey cocktail sausages
1 bottle Heinz chili sauce
1 16-18 oz. jar apple jelly
3/4 cup pineapple juice
Place meatballs OR sausages in crockpot. Pour chili sauce, jelly and pineapple juice over meat and give a stir to coat well. Set crockpot on low for 2-3 hours (at least). You can just serve out of crockpot. Great for parties.
