Maudie Mae Warren

Services for Maudie Mae Warren, 94, formerly of Lufkin, were held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment was in the Zavalla Cemetery.
Mrs. Warren was born September 27, 1919 in Zavalla (Angelina County), Texas, the daughter of the late Molly and Silas Kitchens.  She passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 in Pasadena.
Maudie is survived by her daughter, Mary Rider of Montgomery Texas; grandsons, Bruce Rider of Lufkin, Texas and Craig Rider of Georgia; great-grandchildren, Britney and Stephen Rider, both of Lufkin Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Colleen and Earl Hall of Pasadena, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, E.W. (Eckle) Warren; four brothers; and two sisters.
Maudie was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Lufkin, Texas.   She was an avid bowler. She traveled the state and won many trophies.
For the past several years, Maudie has been under the care of her sister and brother-in-law, Colleen and Earl Hall of Pasadena, Texas.
The family received friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time on Wednesday at Gipson Funeral Home.
