Schmidt’s stop by for visit while in town to visit relatives

Beamon and I got a pleasant surprise when Billy and Heidi Schmidt stopped by to see us. They and Heidi’s children, Haven and Heston Burrous, were in Diboll to visith with Heidi’s folks, Bill and Carolyn Yates. Haven and Heston were also spending time with their dad, Jason Burrous. Heidi and Billy were looking forward to attending Harmony Hill Baptist Church where they have many friends. All were enjoying being out of the big city area of Richmond and back to the smaller town where life is not in the fast lane.

Buddy Dennis was just leaving Brookshire Brothers in Huntington by the time I was arriving. He had the day off and decided to come down to have lunch with his wife, Wanda, who works at the store. I had not seen Linda Roberts in a long time and she was shopping.
